๐ Introduction
I built Lootbox Go! as a satirical idle/clicker experiment designed to critique and parody modern mobile free-to-play mechanics. The goal was to isolate the most addictive, psychological feedback loops in modern gaming—Skinner box rewards, energy caps, and gacha drop rates—and strip away all the actual gameplay.
The result is a self-aware parody wrapped in an excessively sweet, soft, and adorable "Cute Kawaii Pinata Party" aesthetic. It's built for rapid, immediate gratification and features high-fidelity visual effects that mock top-grossing mobile game slot-machine designs.
On the technical side, this project explores the speed of building high-performance cross-platform 2D web assets and dynamic animation physics using Google Antigravity, Zustand state-management, and Framer Motion.

- Open Box: Tap or click the main "OPEN BOX" button (or tap the lootbox itself).
- Equip Skins: Click or tap the "LOOTBOX COLLECTION" drawer at the bottom of the screen to open it and select your active cosmetic skin.
- Access Shop: Click or tap the Shopping Cart [๐] icon in the top HUD.

- Satirical Core: A playful, self-aware critique of modern free-to-play manipulation and psychological retention tricks.
- Dopamine-Induced Animations: Flashing card-flips, candy confetti showers, and satisfying springy box-wobbles.

- Dynamic Pity System: Just like real gacha games, your chance of unlocking a rare skin increases with every empty box you open until you hit the jackpot.
๐ Rules / How to Play
- Spend Energy: Opening a lootbox costs 1 Energy.
- Level Up: Gather XP from drops to raise your Level. As you hit higher milestones, your level text glows brighter, transitioning from basic wood to gold, neon, and rainbow.
- Manage Resources: Passive energy recharges over time (up to 10). If you want to keep playing, spend Pinatas (๐ช ) in the store to refill and overflow your energy.
